So apparently Eiffel is installed and working on both the Mac and Windows machines, yet somehow the UI: Select Color Scheme picker is unable to “see” that scheme. As soon as I did this, I got the Eiffel theme on Windows, exactly what I wanted. Themes in VScode is a subset of Sublime so it can’t be converted without some loss. I looked at the link you posted and the reason is explained near the bottom. Select Dark+ or Light+ from UI: Select Color. ![]() Place the Dark+.tmTheme & Light+.tmTheme file into the User directory. In Sublime Text, open the Command Pallette ( Command + Shift + P on OSX, Ctrl + Shift + P on Windows/Linux) and choose Browse Packages. I tried going into Preferences->Settings on the Windows machine and manually typing "color_scheme": "Packages/Color Scheme - Default/Eiffel.tmTheme", into my settings. I was looking to do the same since I have a custom Sublime theme. Download the Dark+.tmTheme file from GitHub Download the Light+.tmTheme file from GitHub. However if I go to Preferences->Settings I see a line that says "color_scheme": "Packages/Color Scheme - Default/Eiffel.tmTheme", and it is allowing me to use that Eiffel theme fine. When I select UI: Select Color Scheme on the Mac, I also get only the Breakers, Celeste, Mariana, Monokai and Sixteen options (plus some Typescript related schemes). However, the Macintosh is also unable to select the Eiffel theme, even though the Eiffel theme is currently enabled. Although I have installed the Color Scheme - Legacy package through Package Control, when I choose UI: Select Color Scheme from the command palette, I am only given the options Breakers, Celeste, Mariana, Monokai and Sixteen.Įven more strange, I have a Macintosh where Sublime Text 3 is already happily running, using the Eiffel theme from the Legacy Color Schemes package. It should now show up on your 'Preferences - Color Scheme' menu under 'User'. But its still possible to use your favourite font in the user interface of the theme, just follow through these simple steps: Pull up command pallete via cmd/ctrl + shift + p Type in Browse packages Navigate to the /User folder Create a file named ayu-mirage.sublime-theme to modify mirage or ayu-light. ![]() ![]() Paste the colour scheme you copied earlier here and rename it. From Sublime Text choose Preferences - Browse Packages - User. I was not able to select the legacy color schemes. Choose the colour scheme which is closest to your requirements and copy it. I set up Sublime on a new Windows machine today. I do not like any of the UI changes since ST2, so I install the Theme - Legacy and Color Scheme - Legacy package when I use Sublime.
